One of the factors that may contribute to the lack of positive growth in the aquaculture sector, is the lack of cooperation between operators in the sector. This may be regarding production (breeding programmes, feed resources, benchmarking technical performance…), promotion and market intelligence or training and knowledge management, including open access publications.
The Aquaculture Europe events’ main objectives all revolve around communication within the sector. The 2017 edition of the event will feature an international trade exhibition, where companies will present their latest products and services.
Alongside this, a special forum will be arranged for students in attendance, enabling networking and exchange of ideas. There are two different early registration options available, up until July 15th and September 15th. The event runs from Tuesday, October 17th – Friday, 20th October.
